I would put the chair on the left side but that is not the right answer. Why?

Sorry I seem to have not copied the question properly. The patient's right foot is weak/paralyzed. Sorry about that.

You want to strong side to always lead. So to get into bed with a weak rt side you would out the chair on the ride side of the bed
