Ex- Saudi Filipino nurse applying for NMC-UK

Published

Hi there!

I just want to ask somebody here who has experience in processing for the NMC-UK with a previous experience in Saudi Arabia. Herewith are the requirements for an ex-saudi nurse to comply. Please do correct me if there are any mistakes or errors.

1 . Final EXIT Visa in ENGLISH

2. Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia - translated and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce

3. NMC FORMS - License verification from SCFHS to NMC ( to be filled up and sent )

4. Employment certificate from Saudi

- needs to have details of sick leave

-reference letter from employer less than six months with official stamp

5. Good Standing Certificate - less than six months

6. SCFHS Certification ( Gray Colored Certificate) copy in with english translation

7. Copy of SCFHS card

I know these are a lot but I just wanted to clarify on how do I obtain these especially that it has been a year since I worked from the hospital. Is it necessary to have these forms completed? thanks for the help.

TIPS and advice are very much needed. Thank you

Just be honest.. declare whatever is necessary. Make a letter of explanation.. add some drama in your explanation. Nmc will guide u... explain and declare... then wait for their reply. Dont hesitate to tell the truth.

I also had issues with my application. Struggle is real but i hold on to it. Bunch of decalaration and explanation.. the i got my DL. Prayers!

@Rn_gard

thank you for your advice.. I’ll take note of that...

Congrats on receiving your DL...

Just write in your experience that you arrived in KSA in July and had your registration number in June,, that would be fine bcoz its not an automatic registration..

Hi. I was just wondering has anyone here had any unregistered experience with saudi council?

I had more than a year of saudi work experience as our employer did not require this before. I eventually got it when we were required to get an scfhs license upon recontracting. It also took a while coz our employer wasn’t too helpful with the process. But because the NMC has recently removed the employment reference section if it will not be used to support your english language proficiency, does still need to be declared though? (the over 1 year of unregistered practice)

As some may already know, nowadays, most SCFHS branches refuse to fill out any forms from foreign registration agencies. Hence, there is also no way that I can have the unregistered practice form filled out.

Anybody experienced this? And what remedy did you do?

I had the same problem (6 months unregistered practice) because we all know that the registration in the kingdom is not automatic. I emailed the NMC about my situation and, they said that I should send (via post) and upload all my documents(scanned copies) on the portal. No need for Restriction form (unregistered practice) as long as you only have one employer during your unregistered and registered practice. That was it. I made sure everything was notarized. I am now waiting for my DL?

I submitted my documents last week and my agent told me that my documents weighed almost a Kilo ? (hyperbole). I submitted everything just to make sure.

Hi good day!
Hope you can enlighten me.
I already have the required IELTS which I took March last year with an overall of 7.5 and a 6.5 in writing. I was overjoyed by the NMC announcement that they already accept a score of 6.5 in writing. However, I am already here in Saudi Arabia when they announced the new score requirements. I've been here for almost one year already and had the opportunity to ask our HR personnel if they will allow me to go home this September or October. And fortunately they agreed because they have new nurses arriving from Sudan, though I am still to make a formal request letter to them. But there are few questions I have in mind before I make the decision to leave.

1. Will my Saudi documents still be accepted by NMC if I will not be able to finish my 2 years contract but with approval to exit from my employer.
2. Just recently they were able to process our Prometrics exam and I am worried what is NMC guidelines regarding unregistered practice for Saudi nurse like me.

---I really appreciate your response , thank you in advance and Godbless.---

Hello! I hope you can help me with my problem regarding my NMC application. I have been reading the questions here as well as the answers and I find it very helpful. But I'm not sure if this blog is still active and the answers to the queries still applies as of the moment. In that regard, I want to ask what to do if I have used the same bar coded form in my RAV both Philippines and Saudi Arabia? The RAV from Saudi Arabia/SCFHS/Saudi Council was already sent to NMC London but still awaiting for the RAV from Philippines/PRC. How to fix this problem? Additionally, as I checked my application from time to time, I found out that I uploaded a JPEG file of my passport instead of PDF. My NMC application is a READ ONLY since I already pressed submit. In that case, I can no longer change my uploaded passport. I'm afraid this might cause a delay in my application. I hope you can help me. I tried to contact NMC thru phone but it was busy. Tried to email them too but no reply yet. I am really worried. Thank you very much.

@AlyannaRN if u haven't submitted it yet then you can still modify whatever u uploaded in the portal.. regarding the ba4coded forms, yiu can email them or make a letter of explnation, sign it and attach to your portal at the additional identification section.

Unfortunately, I have already pressed SUBMIT. @Rn_gard I can’t make any corrections in my portal. What is the best thing to do?
