Although I have only a few of its chapters, the Patient Safety and Quality: An Evidence-Based Handbook for Nurses (AHRQ Publication No. 08-0043) book looks like an excellent resource. It is also available as a searchable CD-ROM, which is great!

See http://www.ahrq.gov/qual/nurseshdbk for details.

Anyone else read it or used it yet?

It does sound very interesting- I noticed Patricia Benner wrote one of the chapters, too. I just ordered the CD-ROM, and it's free!

Thanks for the info, 3rdcareerRN!

Thanks a million, 3rdcareerRN. "Evidence Based Practice" is a mandatory course in my nursing program and this will come in handy.
