How many points did you have when you were excepted (or not) to CSN RN program? Be sure to include which semester and year you applied. This is for all of us pre-nursing students who want to know if we have a good chance. So far I have 20 points. I applied for spring 09.:wink2:

I did it one other time and they were very fast and got it done. This is for the math class. Who do I stay on top of. I didn't think there would be anyway to ask them where the process is at. It's been about 2 and a half weeks since I submitted it.

Hopefully you won't have any problems. I have had some bad experiences with them though. I transferred classes twice and the first time they did it quickly. The second time I submitted mid May. I called them to verify that they had received my transcript - they told me yes. They had lost the new transcript and had the old one. I didn't find out that they had the wrong transcript until the beginning of July when they sent me a post card saying my DARS had not changed since the last request. I then had to resubmit it again several times before they finally transferred my credits. They finally posted to my DARS on August 5th. They can look it up in the computer and tell you your status and I would suggest you call and find out if your class does not post by the end of next week. That way you have a little time to clear up any problems in case they arise before the application is due.

Thanks for the advice...now I'm really worried. I'd love to be able to apply in September so as to avoid having to take the TEAS exam after just taking the NLN. I turned my transcript in myself and watched them enter it into the computer so I'm hoping because of that I'll have no problems but I might take your advice that if I haven't heard anything by end of next week to either call or stop by and ask whats happening with it. Wish I could remember how long it took the first time.

I was accepted for Fall 08 with 28 points. I noticed that they require the TEAS test now. So I guess Spring 09 will be the last time they accept NLN scores. Good luck to those applying. :up:
