Did anyone get accepted and staring spring 2013?
Also this is really random but since I'm not from San Jose and I'm apartment hunting online lol do you know of the via reggio apartments and if they are in a good area?? lol[/quote']I'm not familiar with those apartments but that area in general is pretty descent.. Try looking at it with google maps ... There are a few complexes around that area that might not have the best neighbors but the area is ok and good location overall for misc shops etc.. That's not real close to EVC though. I'm not to far from what they call the prune yard (about 10 min east of via Reggio. I am going to drive to school in morning traffic one of these days ( should be against traffic) to see how long it will take me to drive there but when you get closer to Evc it can get congested on tully or Capitol. The cheaper apartments closer to Evc prob won't be in the best neighborhood as some parts of the east side are not good. Hope that helps :) happy to help if you have more questions :)
Hi Noodlebug19 - Your schedule will vary depending on the clinical instructor you are assigned to, but for first semester it will be more or less like this:
Monday- Lecture, PLTL
Tuesday - Lecture, then clinical prep
Wednesday - Clinical 6:30 am - 1:30/2 pm
Thursday - Clinical 6:30 am - 1:30/2 pm
Friday - Skills lab, skills check off lab
The times may switch around and depending on your group you may have skills lab on a different day, or clinical TH/F vs Wed/Th, but this gives you a sample idea.
This is ONLY for 1st semester. 2nd was completely different.
As for your move, stay away from anything in EAST San Jose. That is not a good area. Stay in the south or west sides of San Jose if you can. :)

Typically when do classes start in the morning?
Lecture in first semester for me was 8 am to 10:30 (but typically ran over). PLTL was from 12:30-1:50 something like that. You can go on the evc website and look at the course schedule for fall and it will give you examples of the possible schedules for all 4 semesters. :)
Really... I tried to look but I will again!
Cnoto34 - I copied and pasted the Fall 2013 1st semester schedules. You would be in one of these 4 sections and then one of the bottom 2 sections. If you are in Spring, it could change, but these schedules were the same for 1st when I was there last fall. That should give you an idea of what schedule you potentially could be given.

Hello everyone,I am currently a student at EVC and was wondering how long did it take everyone to complete all your pre-reqs. My fiance tells me that it will take 2 years for me to complete them.
Hello... It depends if you go full time or part time.. I work full time and have two kids so it took me about 5+ years at night and on weekends. I graduated with a AA. If you are only taking preqreq to actually get into evc nursing than that will take you less time.
