Did anyone get accepted and staring spring 2013?
Hello everyone! Congrats on getting into EVC!! Feels great doesn't it?! I just finished my second semester there today! I am going on to 3rd in the fall and will be graduating in Spring of 2014! I started looking at this site when I was applying and still check in as I continue my journey. I just wanted to hi to everyone and let you know YOU CAN DO IT! It's A LOT of hard work, but it's all doable! Enjoy your time off because once you start, you have NO free time. But it's all worth it! Good luck to you all!

That's great! I'm starting in spring 14...any advice?? I'm so excited
Congrats Cnoto34! Advice....hummm stay VERY organized and stay on top of things as they come. Do not let things back up or it will sink you. Take it a step at a time because at times the big picture can be very overwhelming. I make sure I still get 8 hours of sleep (I require a lot) to function properly. If you stay on top of things everything is very doable.
Also- they love confidence. One thing I've heard people say was "fake it till you make it." So, go in with an open mind and tough skin.
I hope this helps! :)

Ok two more questions lol can you use a ipad during lectures?
You can ask me as many questions as you would like..... And I will try and answer them.
The instructors....depends on who you get....I have been really lucky, I have had great instructors. I have heard that other students had a harder time because of the instructor. I think how you are treated depends a lot on you as a person. I am a very dedicated, hard working student, so I don't have a problem. The student's who want to do as little as possible, they have the hardest time and eventually either drop or get kicked out. We started with 40 in my class, going into 3rd we have lost about 13 I think. This program is really hard, there are no two ways about it. None of the instructors are "easy", but some are nicer than others.
As for the iPad- I don't use one, but other people do. I think there might be some conversion issues with the ATI stuff and possibly a few other things, but I am not 100%. I use a MAC and type out everything, nothing is pen and paper for me (just my personal preference).
Hope this helps! :)

That's what I was thinking as far as teachers go! Pretty common sense. I don't think Ill have a problem with that.. Nice thing about being older and having two kids to worry bout, keeps you focused and out of drama lol ... I have been wanting an ipad and was hoping it would be helpful. Thanks
