Hi everyone, I am applying for the Modesto Junior College this year, and have a question about the Transcript portion to the application. Do I have to have someone sign the "Office Use Only" portion to the Transcrip Verification Form? Or can I just submit my official high school and college transcript, and the staffs will initial it? Please answer back soon, if anyone can. I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi Devin6xx, I saw your post here via cnoto34 and thought I leave my comment too. I finished my nursing perequsites in 2012, and was nervous about applying to nursing school because of all the readings I saw of people trying, and trying for years to get into nursing school. Regardless, I took the chance to apply to a community college nursing school in Fresno, Ca called Fresno City College. I didn't get selected. When the Evergreen Valley College nursing application opens in Fall 2012, I applied and was accepted, first try. So you can say it didn't take me years to get into nursing school. Since you are currently considering applying to nursing school, my biggest advice is, like others mentioned, APPLY EVERYWHERE! It's worth the shot, and if you preserve, you will get into somewhere someday. Best of luck!

I got selected for Fall12/Spring13!!!!! Woo!! I did not recieve an email, so I called her, and I was so surprised/happy to hear the good news. Just need to take the Teas now. Have you taken it? Any recommendations if you do? Thank you!

That's interesting. I just replied to the email address that sent me confirming my application status, let's see when she will respond back. Also, I contacted the phone number listed in her email, but was directed to only viocemail. Let's see how things go. Congratulations on getting in! Do you live near Evergreen Valley College? If so, getting into the program is probably really good to you because transportation wouldn't probably be that bad. Best of luck to you!

AWWW, congratulations to you! I still have not heard anything from the college yet. Am considering sending them an email, but unsure if they are only in delay. Do you know if they are still going through applications or not? They say everyone will hear about their selection (or not) by the 31st of December. It is now the 5th of January Not sure if I should shoot them an email, or just wait. I checked the EVC website as well, and they did say, they are running 10 days behind of processing the applications, not sure if this will cause a delay in the selection process as well.

Hey RN12345678 and Katrinasj85 I'm glad to see 12-13 applicants for Evergreen Valley College on here. I recently applied this past Oct as well. And have not heard anything from the college yet. Nervous, yet excited at the same time. If any of you hear anything, please update. =)
