Everett Community College Applicants Fall 2014

U.S.A. Washington

Is anyone planning to apply for Fall 2014 at Everett CC? If so what are your TEAS scores? Mine is a 79.3%. I hear Fall usually has higher scores because there are more applicants. So I'm thinking of reapplying until I get lucky. Anyone hear of the lowest TEAS score accepted into the program?

Thanks kkay29,

I called and asked if it was okay if we didn't have the communications course, and she said that we could complete that over the summer. That's a relief!

Is everyone done with the immunizations and all your prereqs?

Oh good! I am currently taking Anthropology and Communications. Then I'll be done with all the prereqs. And I am done with the immunizations. What other schools have you applied to Husky2011?

Wow good for your kkay29!!

I'm still going crazy trying to finish my immunizations by the deadline... I actually don't have communications yet, and I don't have socio..But thankfully, I had my nursing advising appointment today, and she said I should be good to go as long as I state I'm going to take the cmst and possibly socio over the Summer. Otherwise I would have had to wait until Winter 2014. So basically, I'm waiting to hear back from the office about my transfer credits to see if I meet the prereq requirements. So nervewracking, I'm desperately hoping I can make it for Fall...

Right now I'm waiting on one east coast school, and Everett. Hey kkay29, for your immunizations (I know they haven't opened up the system to upload the records yet) but since you have them completed may I ask: For the Hep B my doctor just gave me a doctor's note on a small piece of paper saying that I had the three shots (instead of like a formal medical record). I have my other immunization stuff on a formal record, but in terms of the Hep B I guess I was worried if they would take that or not.

So I'm wondering do you have all your shots info on one piece of paper? Or do you think they would take a doctor's slip as well?? Sorry for all the questions and any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Hey kkay29, so I did call the office and they were able to answer my question about the immunizations. Thanks!

Husky 2011, Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I actually got a call from one of the ladies at Everett that was reviewing my Part II of the application. She noticed that my CMST 210 and ANTH206 were not done yet. I let her know that I was currently taking those classes and she put that on my file. So I guess it is a good sign that they are starting to look through applications. Have you submitted your Part II yet? I know the deadline isn't until July but I just wanted to get it over with. I'm also a little disappointed that we will have to use the Complio system for our immunizations just to apply (whenever they set it up). That just adds more fees to the whole process.

No problem kkay29, wow you must feel great to have everything submitted (part I and II).

I still have to submit Part II, and unless I'm wrong, I thought she told me I could not submit Part II until I have everything (CPR card, immunizations) up to date?? I know we have to upload everything to complio by July, but do you think I can still go ahead and submit Part II?

I will have to go and submit another document this week at the office, so I guess I will just ask them and bring Part II just in case. Thanks!!

You should be able to turn it in. I got a lot of different answers from the girls in the office when I was submitting Part II, but I know they were in the process of training a couple people. But you should be good to go unless they changed something after I submitted mine.

Just wanted to say, I'm a current student at EvCC (3rd quarter) and it really is a good program, one of the top 2 or 3 in the state, or so I've heard. I'm very happy with my decision.

I took cultural anth and CMST 210 online over the summer last year, finishing them up after the app was due, and it was not a problem.

You might want to try taking the TEAS ahead of time at another facility, and submit the score along with your app- that way you will know if you have a chance, and possibly even retake it if your score is below 84 or so (not sure what the retake rules are, but I know you can retake it once- at some point). Good luck!

Well it's getting closer to the application due date. I just uploaded all of my immunizations and documents into Complio and also paid for my background check. Now I am just waiting for my documents to be reviewed and it could take 1-3 days. Anyone want to share their TEAS scores that is applying for Fall? I have a 79.3%. I'm more likely to get into Winter but really hoping to get lucky and get into Fall.

Hey guys! :) how long after submitting your applications did you get an invitation from EvCC to take the TEAS test?

Application deadline was July 7th, and the print date on the letter was July 15th. I took the test August 20th and should get an answer next week.

I was invited to take the TEAS test but had already taken it. Any word when we will be hearing whether or not we are in for Fall? Patiently waiting to hear something....
