Is anyone planning to apply for Fall 2014 at Everett CC? If so what are your TEAS scores? Mine is a 79.3%. I hear Fall usually has higher scores because there are more applicants. So I'm thinking of reapplying until I get lucky. Anyone hear of the lowest TEAS score accepted into the program?
@chels222 thanks for the heads up. I already have my diversity requirements complete so I could take either. I'm going to meet with the UW Bothell advisor next week to make sure I get all of the prerequisites done. I'm not feeling to good about Fall but I now feel better about Winter or Spring. So thank you. So your saying that the Anthropology teacher isn't very good at Everett?
Hello everyone!
I am trying to apply for Fall 2014 as well. I'll be attending the info session in April. This is my first time applying to Everett. Does anyone have any tips/advice on if there are particularly strict requirements for Everett. (Like besides the general prereqs, TEAS....) I know the deadline is July, but I want to be sure that I am not missing something right now that I need to be taking care of....In reading the posts here, it seems that Everett is pretty competitive? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that Everett is not as stringent on things like volunteering experience (at Shoreline, you need a lot of volunteer hours for points), so at least that is one good thing..
And hi brooke.phaganLPN, I did not know that you were applying to Everett as well!
Hi Husky2011, lets both hope we get into SU and then not have to worry about other schools. Anyways, I have decided not to apply to Everett because I don't want to take any extra classes. They do not accept Sociology as their diversity course or speech as they communication course. Admissions to the program is weighted completely on the TEAS test. I believe the advisor say no one under 83 on the TEAS got in last fall. Fall is more completive so that might be slightly lower in other quarters. Good Luck!
Hi kkay29, no I was not accepted to SU.
I'm hoping I can get into Everett this Fall, but I am waiting on about three more schools before then. It is interesting that Everett's deadline is relatively late.
This is my first time applying to Everett so I kind of don't have any knowledge on their selection process, but I'm hoping that my TEAS scores and having finished my prereqs will give me a fighting chance.
Husky2011,
I'm sorry you weren't accepted to SU. What other schools did you apply to? It sounds like you were smart about applying to lots of places. I applied to Bellevue but I don't think I have a high enough score to get in. If anything I might get put on the waiting list for Winter. Just waiting for the letter now. Should get it late April or early May.

Sociology doesn't cover the diversity requirement so it would be a waste unless I'm missing something.
