Hi there, just curious if anyone on this forum has gone though Everett CC for their RN bridge or just generic RN. I have 3 prereq's to complete to be able to apply and I am enrolled start tomorrow. Would love to know any details you can share. Thanks!

I would also like to know about the LPN-RN program at ANY CC in the Seattle area. I am in my last semester of pre-reqs in AZ and hope to get into the LPN Fast Track program here in AUG. ( its a one year program) then move to Seattle and continue to get my RN.
Also, what are the pre-reqs up there?
THANKS!!!!!
In my area there is Everett, Shoreline, Lake Washington Tech, and North Seattle community colleges for LPN-RN bridge programs. Unfortunately the prereq's differ from college to college so not one has the exact same.
Thanks for the info!!! I checked and a lot do have different pre-reqs! That is different that what I'm use to down here!!!

You may find it almost easier to get on a list in Arizona now and just finish your RN in Arizona. I graduated from Skagit but went on a waiting list even before I started the LPN and then still had to wait to transition into the RN at Skagit. It is worth it but the Seattle schools from what I hear are incredibly competitive. Most schools have enough 4.0 students that if you don't have a really strong GPA you can almost forget it. I moved to Arizona and am now working in Phoenix and loving it. I think the job opportunities are better here than Seattle. I went to a career fair in Seattle but there were not as many jobs as I find are here. My experience so far since we get lots of students is that the nursing instructors are very nurturing here. Seems most of the programs are good here but I thought the clinical expectation at Skagit was higher than it is here.
