EVCC Fall 2015 applicants

Hey everyone! Just trying to find out roughly where everyone is at and what people scored on the TEAS for fall 2015. This is my first time applying, but I scored an 86% overall. Fingers crossed I will only have to apply this one time! Now it's a waiting game !

Someone in the office a few days before the deadline was up. It just made it sound as if it would not be a whole lot more competitive compared to a typical spring quarter in the past, but it is still competitive - somewhere around 100 applicants maybe? Still, that's a lot better than 200 or so.

From what I heard fall quarter usually has around 400 applicants and this year based on the online class there was like 197... And of those I know of at least 5 that had planned on applying but couldn't due to immunizations or life happenings beyond their control. But if the application class is closer to 100, even better!!

Hello everybody! Just made myself an account so I can start leaving comments on this thread! I've been following for a couple weeks and am hopeful, as all are you, to get into the Fall 2015 nursing family! The waiting has been the hardest part since I took the TEAS back in May! Congratulations to you all on your awesome scores! That test gave me a run for my mind, haha! Overall, I scored an 85 and ranked in the 95th %. I was told the rankings don't really matter though. Still - it sounds great :p Crossing my fingers for everyone and myself to finally be accepted! Guess we'll be finding out next week?

Welcome to AN!! That's a great score!! I can't believe you took it back in May, you must be losing your mind!! I'm hoping for letters to be here early next week! I'm ready to start making plans and organize a get together (pending I get in and everyone else too).

Do you think they will be sending them out soon? I heard 3 weeks but you never know! Omg.... Ahhh! ugh... This waiting is killing me. And good job everyone.. I am really hoping we all get in... So far I have the lowest score so I am really hoping...

Thank you Jessica! I'm super pumped there's a place for us to talk and get to know the potential new cohort :p I hear ya, Genn! I am totally ready to have those acceptance packets in hand! When I called the week of the 7th, Karen said starting the week of the 20th the letters would go out. If all goes well my friends, in about a week from now we could all be braving the nursing program together in fall! I'm looking forward to meeting you all! Here's to keeping the positive vibes flowing! :D

So I called the school and they said that the letters will be sent either today or early next week!! I asked her what the lowest teas score they accepted and she said she is not at liberty to say. Blaaahhhhhh!!!!! Good luck everyone!

I just found this thread and am just as anxious as all of you to receive an acceptance letter. I received a score of 83.3% in June on my teas. Not as high as most of you but still in the competitive bunch.
