Hey guys! Just wanted to start a page for the Fall 2022 cycle at EVC. This is my first time applying and I'm hoping to apply with 85 points. Curious if this is competitive compared to previous years? It'd also be nice if y'all can share your scores ?

I just know that LVN programs now require to be CNAs, right? You have to be CNA and have worked at least like 200< to apply?
I never heard that. Also I don't think that is the requirement, especially if you go into private like Unitek or Carrington. Maybe for the community colleges but just inquire with the program to be sure.
It is confusing for me when I look at the schedule for Spring 2021 it was 5 days a week. But from the meeting, my understanding is 3 days per week. Lecture on Tuesday, and skill lab on Wednesday and Thursday for the first 3 weeks. After that skill lab days will be replaced by clinical attendance. I'm still not very sure about it.

Hi Ryan, everyone is different but I know the cutting point this year around 67 or 68 points. Try to take as many classes that have bonus points as possible such as physiology and pharmacology besides other ge class to bring your points up. High points also have more chance of getting iccp program. Best luck!

If I recall correctly they said they weren’t looking at our grades/ points for approval for the ICCP program. It was based off our answers to the short answer questions and that’s why we were given those application numbers.

You might correct but the higher scores can get into the final cohort instead of the alternative list because alternative list does not get a chance to apply for iccp.

How did you guys know how many points you'd be? Is there a page that shows the amount of points correlating to each GPA/TEAS?

https://www.evc.edu/nursing-allied-health/associate-degree-nursing/generic-RN-program look under multi criteria and the whole point system is there! I think I got around 85 points-take advantage of healthcare experience; additional classes like patho, pharm, psych, etc; and additional degrees! you got this!!
