  1. Definitely apply! I think I got 70, 72 or 69. One of those for sure. I thought it was low, but just fyi I think if your score is eligible then they choose the students randomly like a lottery.
  2. OMG me too!! and I am wondering why.. I feel like I did everything they said to do.
  3. Did you go to the information meeting? I wasn’t able to attend so I was wondering when did they say we will hear back?
  4. When do we hear if we got Accepted or not!
  5. I never heard that. Also I don't think that is the requirement, especially if you go into private like Unitek or Carrington. Maybe for the community colleges but just inquire with the program to be sure.
  6. Yes! Do you know anything about it!
  7. Hi! I applied to Mission College for the Lvn-RN program. I am wondering if anyone else did and if anyone thought how the application process was hard. Also when do we get the results if we got accepted or not?
  8. I start Spring 2023! Does anyone know what month is that. I think I got in with like only 69 points or 84... it was too high. I am waiting on Mission College to see if I got accepted. Congrats to everyone who got in!
  9. I start Spring 2023. Why not fall this year?!?
  10. Try other places to apply. How many points did you apply with? Try other ADN programs. Also how many points did you get in with. don't be discourage.
  11. no same thing under review .... but stay hopeful!
  12. First and foremost how awesome is that you're so supportive with your daughter's RN journey. I did see that EVC has the Integrated Community College BS Nursing Pathway and I think her credits and all of that fits that accelerated program. My best advice is for her to apply to other ADN programs in the bay area like Chabot, Marin, Merrit, Hartnell and a bunch more before applying to Unitek. Samuel Merrit is an excellent school, but if you go to this website it shows how many other community college are in the TOP 50 ADN RN programs and Chabot would be #1 https://www.registerednursing.org/state/california/ Applications are still open for some of the ADN schools for this coming FALL 2022, so have her apply and see where it takes her before paying that X amount money on Unitek. I mean I understand in the end its about pass the NCLEX but at the same time clinical rotations shape student nurses and most of the community colleges have excellent clinical rotations!
  13. It's okay! Let's stay positive!
  14. @lenny19 I got a 67.... its kinda low I think... sighs I got a 67.... its kinda low I think... sighs
