Essex County College Fall 2011 Nursing Exam

Hello,

Has anyone recieved the date(s) for the Nursing Entrance Exam for September 2011? I've been studying all summer and I am very excited to sit for the test; I just hope that i do well. I have take all Pre-Reqs and received an "A" in A&P, Chem, and Eng 101...I am ready to test!!

Any ideas on the date or any news? Also, does anyone know of any secrets requirements?

Is there anyone in this thread that is an evening student in the program? I just want to get an exact or rough time schedule of the classes in the first year. I just want to sketch out a plan ahead of time if I should scale back on full time work. Thanks!

Hello All,

While doing a little research, i was able to locate the admissions criteria that i hope you find helpful...

Applicants will be ranked according to the following criteria and will be admitted on a space available basis according to GPA, Verbal, Math and Science scores on the entrance test , total credits completed at ECC, residence, number of times BIO 121 or CHM taken, total creditscompleted at ECC. The highest ranking score is 29, the lowest score is 8. Students will be admitted on a space-available basis.

I have not heard anything....give it a couple of weeks. We should know something by Thanksgiving atleast. :)

Nope....well hopefully we will be hearing something sometime this week...it is the week before Thanksgiving and aren't Spring classes going to be available for online registration soon?....ahh can't wait to find out the verdict...lol

Letters will be mailed out in 2 weeks. I spoke to the secretary. She said all she could tell me is that we have to have to be in the 50th percentile and above to be accepted into the program

So, i guess that means we should give it until the last week of November. I was hoping to know by Thanksgiving. I guess we will just have to be patient. :yawn:

I have not had the opportunity to check my mail yet but folks have started receiving letters.
