Hey ya'll Manoa BSN students

I just checked my hawaii.edu mailbox & I noticed for orientation we have a one page essay due as well as a self-assesment. I just wanted to post, because I almost never check my hawaii.edu email...

hehe I knew about it awhile ago..but i'm kinda lazy to write it HAHAH!! I've been such a slacker...anyways I heard first year of nursing school is really cruise so I'm kinda not worried about it! CONGRATS I HOPE TO SEE U THERE ON ORIENTATION on the 19th!! ^_^ Hopefully we can all bond and help eachother out...now I gotta worry about books eekkk.. $500+!

wow they do that now. things changed a lot... i grad UH December 2008. I dont recall doing that. I was apart of the UH Student Nurses Organization and I help with the New Student Orientation every semester I was there.

I think the essay is actually for our 300 course, but I could be wrong. I was confused because I thought I read that we were going to do the essay at orientation. See you guys there!

Yes, the essay is for the orientation because the email says to bring your essay and the self assessment. No biggy for me, I just typed a one page about what I thought about the nursing profession, my background in the medical field, and why I chose to be a nurse. I think it's for us to share at the orientation.
