Anyone heard of Epic which develops software for hospitals. If so, can you give me any info on it?

We use Epic where I work. I could tell you lots of things about Epic, anything specific you want to know about it?

We also use EPIC software. They are HQ'd in Verona WI, about 15 mi from Madison. Their campus is amazing...something you might expect to see when visiting a hi-tech "Google-like" corporate HQ. Support during our EPIC rollout was good. Talked with employees during our rollout...nice benefits, good pay, very high stress though and considerable amt of travel required (at least for those positions). Unique sabbatical program...something like 4 weeks every 5 years paid time off, and employees are encouraged to really use it for unusual things...they have a wall in the cafeteria where the employees post pics and little "essays" telling what they did during their time off. Cafeteria just beautiful, organic this and that, extremely reasonable prices (like about 50% less than the sub-par cafeteria offerings at my hospital!). One caveat: they have a wall where employees with employment greater than 10yr have their handprints in concrete tiles on the wall...we were surprised how few handprints there were...not sure if that is due to their explosive growth, or reflective of their organizational structure, or correlates to the working environment. Overall, I was very very impressed with the organization from my extremely limited view.
Sorry if you were looking for info about EPIC software itself...if so, I can also give you my .02 on that!
