english exam

hi everybody,
i am trying to get through toeflt ibt.i cleared all things except speaking in the first attempt.i tried again but i dont think i will get through.can anybody help me with speaking.can i get guidance on speaking coz it is too hard to get 26 out 30 in speaking.i m in evansville indiana (usa) on study visa and i am in process of visa screening.i am unable to locate any ielts centre nearby.
please help me.

i think you will be better with ielts. it is easier and you will be talking to a person not the machine.

there are only 12 ielts centers all over the usa. you may have to consider adding the airfare and hotel room in your ielts expense. it is difficult to get the early date. you have to book at least a month before the test. good thing is that the test centers administer all four modules on the same day.

If you are a nursing student in the US getting your basic nursing training here, you do not need the English exams. You do need it if you already did training in your country and are here just for graduate school.

there are few free online materials. i recommend scotts english success- it costs $49 for a month but is a very good site. i don't have idea about books because i did not use any.
