Hi,
Does anyone know how long before you move to another state do you have to endorse your license? I don't plan on going back to work for another year and my license is up for renewal in 2013, does anyone know if in the state of TX could you renew your license even though you have not worked, and are there any CE classes required? I'm just confused with this whole process. Thanks for any advise/answers.

You really need to contact the BON in that state; they can and will answer all your questions. Most have this info already posted. Just type in Texas Board of Nursing. Start now in case you have to take certain CEU classes, so you won't be pressed to prepare before 2013. Personally, I wish nursing licenses were national, and you could work in any state without the hassle!
