Of course it would be more valuable to a newbie, but it is a very good course and anyone would learn alot from it I believe. As too how long each module takes, that depends totally on the reading and comprehension skills of the person using it.
The modules are very comprehensive and thorough
Some of them are shorter, some longer. If I recall, the Cardiology section was the longest. Each module awards the learner a certain number of hours, and I believe cardio was worth 5 hours of CEUs. The whole thing was worth about 60-something hours of CEUs. I took the online modules as part of my ED nursing fellowship last year, and they were fabulous! We did our fellowship over the course of about 2 months, and we'd typically do 8 hours of online modules each week.
I still have the module listing from when I did the fellowship. I'll upload it here -- it has a time estimate for each module. This is a year old, so things could have changed.
These are also excellent for CEN study. :)

Any opinions on the ENA online orientation program for new ER nurses? It offers 43 online modules that jibe with Sheehy's content. I'd enjoy doing something like that on my own, and I think my employer might pick up the $600 tab. But is it worth it? I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's taken it.
