Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply in SLMC-e.rod, though I heard that they will start the hiring process this coming September.. Do you have any idea on how many exams and interviews you will undergo before they will accept you for the training? Let me share with you the requirements needed: resume, photocopy of PRC license, board rating, board rating certificate, class ranking, GWA, TOR, diploma, and 2 pcs. 2x2 pics (white background)..

Your replies would be greatly appreciated..

Godbless! :wink2:

hi red_08. wat group are u in? im also from batch 3, grup 1. my grupmate always make a follow-up call to SLMC every week but sad to say, our applications are still on hold. from what i've heard, we "might" *cross ur fingers* start this June BUT there is no assurance if it will push through. one time, this grupmate of mine called the DCA ofis and the guy who answered her call said "maybe next year more". double whammy for us! im starting to think if its wise to hold on to their promise. its been 6 months of waiting.

im not so sure wut group...last group i believe..hahah! we were the last ones to get in,,,hmmm...

oh God, June is about to end and still no NEWS! i dont know what to do... very unlucky for me i left my colcenter job for somewhat NOTHING. sigh. but hey, im still holding on........ i wish they would give us an update. and yet, no NEWS or wutsoever about our batch. keep in touch! =))

@red_08, that's a big mistake to resign in your previous call center job, you have to wait until you get hired. It's quite boring if you're waiting for your application to be called for an exam or interview.

I'm working also in a call center until now, I submitted my requirements to the different hospitals here in NCR, while waiting for the qualifying exam and for me to get hired I won't give up my current job, because we're not sure if when are they going to call us for the exam. Since, you give up your previous job why not try to attend different seminars and trainings as well or update your BLS and ACLS.

Just a suggestion..

Thanks!

Good Luck!

how sad your plight is batch 3. Even us from HOPE batch 2 is struggling with our deployment dates. We ended up the training last Feb 28, 2010 and was on our way to probationary status deployment when all of a sudden, things turned unexpectedly!!!

6 mos have passed and yet we still do not when will they gonna call us back...

why haven't you guys started yet? what was the explanation of DCA re the status of ur applications?..

we are through with the 3-month training. we are on our way to probationary status but until now we havent gotten any feedback from them as to when will they gonna deploy us.

i mean, why haven't you guys been deployed yet? wats the problem?

My friend is working there and she told me that they are on freeze hiring...

a little birdie told me that currently slmc-erod has lots of vacant position for RN's..however , the said slots are reserved for Global RN's. Even those who applied and trained for EROD are not given the chance to grab it, it's really for GC nurses..and i dont know why???!!!!

just got a text message from st.lukes QC...from DCA...asking if NSET HOPE BATCH 3 is still available for training,,,hmmmm... i wonder if when will our batch start.. does anybody know? thanks! at least..we got to hear from them... =)

Hello red_08!

We belong to the same batch, I also received a text from them last weekend asking for my availability for the training. According to Ms. Meg, we will have to undergo medical exam once again prior but there's no date yet on when the training for NSET HOPE Batch 3 will commence.

Let's hope and pray that our training will push through soon. Best regards!

that text message from Ms. Meg gave renewed hope. :)
