im also from NSET batch 3. my grupmate called SLMC last April and the lady who answered told her that we "might" start this June BUT there is no assurance...

hi red_08. wat group are u in? im also from batch 3, grup 1. my grupmate always make a follow-up call to SLMC every week but sad to say, our applications are still on hold. from what i've heard, we "might" *cross ur fingers* start this June BUT there is no assurance if it will push through. one time, this grupmate of mine called the DCA ofis and the guy who answered her call said "maybe next year more". double whammy for us! im starting to think if its wise to hold on to their promise. its been 6 months of waiting.

@ young_achieRN and miaka84: hi! i'm also from batch 3 and i'm glad that you guys are here. my groupmate (i'm from group 1) sent a text message to Dr. ******* to ask when are we going to start our training. she said that she's sorry for not coming back to us in a timely manner. they are closely monitoring the performance of their nurses in SLMC-GC, which also affects the hiring process in QC. she requested that we give them 90 days and if they didn't call, we are free to move elsewhere. she didn't have the chance to clarify if that 90 days started after the med exam or 90 days after we inquired because she's a very busy woman. anyway, i will make a follow-up text sometime this month to ask if there is change re our training schedule. for the meantime, try to keep yourselves busy. it's hard to expect something that is not clear. i hope to see u guys soon! :)
