The application for the Emory School of Nursing is now available. I have started my application and want to connect with anyone else who is applying to Emory.

Holy crap you guys! I just emailed Katie K and she responded literally 2 minutes later. I'm so impressed/flabbergasted.

Anyway, I asked her what I should do about the CSS profile since I'm 28 and don't have a financial relationship with my parents. She replied to put zeros in the fields re: parental finances.

I know this financial aid paperwork/wondering how I'm going to pay for all of this is super stress inducing so I hope this helps. I know I was freaking out last night into the wee hours.

Ramata --- Will you still be able to receive need-based aid if you don't include your parents finances?

HCE2014 --- I haven't heard anything. Have you? I'm not sure if I should call again or continue the waiting game.

@rhapsoidie I think you can if you are over a certain age (24, I think). Now that you point it out, she didn't really answer my questions directly. She said, "If you are 28, you can put zeros in the spots where it wants your parents financial information."

Putting your parents information might be a good thing if they aren't making very much since it shows that they probably wouldn't be able to contribute to your education if asked...

The Emory office just told me that no additional admission decisions will be posted today...

HCE2014 -- Did you receive a decision today? I did not. Honestly, I'm quite tired of checking. I don't want to give up hope, but it's frustrating to say the least.

Were there any decisions handed out this week at all? Did any one on this board hear this past week about their decision. Trying to stay positive, but I have to think they are close to filling the class.

March 1st is the decision deadline with a nonrefundable deposit of $250.
