Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread for everyone applying to the 2020 residency program. I applied last week, I'm interested in Critical Care, and I graduate in May of 2020 with my BSN! Wishing you all the best of luck!

Hey! Did you hear back? I graduate in July and received an interview invite

I’d probably say not this time around, because the summer cohort probably will start before October (or maybe Emory is willing to let you start after graduation and work with a GN permit until you’re able to take your NCLEX). It does seem like if you aren’t able to apply for the summer, you can apply for a job with them at any of their facilities because they have positions for new grads.
I’d try calling HR on Monday to confirm what you should do.
Did you confirm with HR?

I signed up for interviews with Emory last week so I can tell you: very specific. Divided into areas like: critical care, emergency, med-surg, etc. Then under each one it lists the specific units, for example: 5E CVICU and you select the two specific units you want to interview for. Critical care slots were filled in under half an hour. Good luck!
