Emory New Grad Residency Summer 2020

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread for everyone applying to the 2020 residency program. I applied last week, I'm interested in Critical Care, and I graduate in May of 2020 with my BSN! Wishing you all the best of luck!

@catfriend45 I'm glad we are in the same boat! LOL. Patiently waiting then I guess. Did you interview with mother/baby Decatur or midtown? And with L&D or mother/baby for northside? ?

MB midtown wbu? And MB Northside. Yes I really hate the waiting. Whatever happens though I am grateful for the fact that I have options in a unit I really wanted. I hope we start to hear something tomorrow because they did say 2-5 business days

@catfriend45 I got offers for MB Decatur and MB midtown, and I interviewed L&D at northside. I really enjoy both units! Hopefully tomorrow yes. I can’t imagine they’d need 5 days to decide. Fingers crossed! Good luck!

She said the start dates are either 7/27 or 8/3. The base pay is $26 but differentials are 4.25(evening), 4.50(nights), and 3.25(weekends). She said that after 3-6mos there’s a competency and if you pass(?) you’ll get a $1 raise and then another raise after 12mos.

I'm not sure if the start date is unit specific or General.

It might have been 5 days. I wasn't listening 100%.

my email doesn't say a deadline but Fatima said a deadline; I thought it was 2 days.
