Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to Emory's DABSN program for this upcoming September. I figured it would be a good way to connect with potential classmates and update each other as we go through the application process. I submitted all application materials a few weeks ago and am waiting to hear back if I received an interview. Has anyone had their application reviewed yet?
Any idea how many people have been accepted? It doesn't seem like too many people know about the program yet considering it's new.
I'm not sure how many people but our course registration shows 13 spots still open. People could have been accepted since then but it seems like they still have seats.
My interview wasn't as laid back, just fyi. I would google some common nursing school interview questions and look on their website to see what they think are some "important student qualities" to have. It wasn't difficult either, I just had a few more questions than I was expecting but no worries :)
Good luck, hope this helped.
Hi everyone -- I'm interested in this program but am searching for answers on the schedule. Does anyone know how many hours a day you have to interact with classmates LIVE online? And also, how many days a week (and times) you will have clinicals? Thanks!
So we don't have an exact schedule yet (or maybe its just me), but from what I know we meet/have to post twice a day 8 AM and 1 PM M-F.
As far as clinicals, our schedule will depend on our preceptor's schedule and meeting the designated clinical hours needed.
It seems like this is going to be like having a full time M-F, 40 hrs a week job, thats why they're not letting us work during the program.
Hello everyone! For those who have gone through the process, do they send the FAFSA/financial aid email and opus tasks to everyone who applies? Just wondering if it's a step in the right direction or not lol
haha yes they send that out when you submit an application. hope you get an interview invite soon! I'm not sure how soon they are getting back to applicants about an interview.

Hello everyone! Major congrats to those of you who were accepted. I found out about this program pretty late, I applied July 31st and all my transcripts were sent electronically the same day. Just submitted my TEAS score (which I just took) last night. Before applying I called and they told me they're still accepting applications for September- It would be AMAZING to be accepted.
