Emory BSN Fall 2014 Applicants

Hi all. The application for Emory's BSN program recently became available. I am SO excited to finally be at this point after taking pre-reqs for 2.5 years! I am hoping to connect with other Emory hopefuls during this nerve wracking process! Anyone else planning to apply for next Fall?

Did anyone else get the letter making sure you finish any in progress prereqs? At least that tells us they have reviewed applications! :)

Bsaindon are you in decatur? I wish i knew if they prioritized them . Not trying to be neurotic about it though .

They admit a lot of out of state and foreign students. They said in one of the online chats they do not prioritize Georgia residents whatsoever. Sucks for us :(

Meeep, I know that they don't prioritize Georgia students because that would be unfair. I was speaking about the ones that are likely to be accepted. I know that you are on top of things because you have been on here since "07". You are really dedicated. I couldn't focus on this forum and complete prerequisites. I guess it could have been a source of encouragement. Good lucK to you!

Bsaindon, do you plan on commuting back and forth to Dahlonega? Atlanta traffic has gotten really hectic over the years. I know because I am a native of Atlanta.

I plan on finding an apartment near Emory if I am accepted.

It can get rather expensive around Emory and Virginia Highlands. There are nice places around Little Five Points. It may seem a little "strange" down there, but the people are really nice. What other schools have you applied. I'm starting to hear a lot of good things about Chamberlain and everyone there is not of the "slower group". A few are from Mercer University.
