So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?

Does anyone know if absn+msn students are eligible for graduate plus loan right from the start of the program? Cos of people like us that are finding it difficult getting a cosigner.

I do not believe so, since the start would be considered BS not MS. I am also looking at loans right now and the rate is 6.31% which seems high. It might be higher then some private loans but of course the terms might be for our benefit or demise compared to private.

Isn't it too early. I thought decisions will be made by April and October 15th deadline was just priority deadline, meaning our applications will be reviewed first.

well, the earlier they make the decision, the better for me. I applied all the way from California. Who else?😊😊😉

From the past, people have figured out close to the priority deadline, so I am basing my assumptions purely on old forums posts. Also from the posts in this current forum people have already been accepted, therefore we might have a chance of knowing "early" .

Really hoping we all hear back pretty soon though! I was banking on hearing back today based on last year's thread, as well as the date notifications went out last month.

I also applied in Sept, and am hoping to hear back soon (if we go by last year and do hear back by the first priority deadline) but as of today I still have some red marks. Anyone else?

I have red marks and my GRE is yet to be waived. Trying not to lose hope on it yet, but it sounds like a lot of other people have had their tests waived. I'm wondering if this means they chose not to waive mine. Anyway, the impatient waiting begins.....
