So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?
I really want to call and ask why some people found out before the November 15th notification date and others haven't. I just want to know what the actual notification date is for the next round so I'm not excessively checking my email lol
But I also don't want to bother the admissions office either lol
I think they might have recieved lots of applications. I applied early in July and just on sept 19 my gre was greyed and said waived. However, on october 11 they made an update and said gre waiver approved. I am guessing the gre waiver is a two step process but I don't know if it is the same for everyone. I am thinking they still have many applications left to be reviewed.
Our checklists seem to be on the same schedule. Hopefully we will figure out at the same time.

Hi elc1234!
I am a nursing fellow with Emory University SON! You will have to pick one or the other. I recommend you chose which program based on when your prerequisites will be completed. Prerequisites have to be completed by the time you start the program. The absn program will start in the Fall and the absn+msn program starts in the Summer. If there are any issues or further questions, feel free to email us at [email protected]
Hi Everyone!

This was our priority deadline for admission and consideration for merit scholarships. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and with a large amount of applications being received, this can take some time. We thank you all for your patience and interest in our School of Nursing!

When I called to ask about my GRE, the girl who answered said that they went through the application in sections and told me not to worry about the GRE not being waived yet. She also said something about a large amount of applications this year which is what makes me assume they're gonna be later on releasing acceptances this year....
