So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?

The financial aid form that was sent out to students is another method of analysis for our staff to design financial aid packages that will best meet our students needs. As stated in the letter, by submitting your offers from other institutions, we will be able to complete a School of Nursing aid package that best supports you and your families financially.

Do you know about how many students are on the waitlist for the absn + MSN program for this summer?

Or maybe approx how many waitlisted students ended up attending last year?

Just kind of wanted some perspective :)

I guess they aren't considering me for a merit scholarship then, I didn't get that email!

Maybe they're looking at a really high GPA or something; thought I was not bad with over a 3.8 for undergrad and mostly A's thereon after, but there must be a lot of smart, passionate people out there in this class. Not waiting around though, got some other scholarship things in process, and I'll be in a better place to make final decisions before March 1, which is the deadline they are giving us to put down a deposit.

I applied by the Dec 15th deadline which was the indicated deadline for merit scholarships.

3.8 is pretty good. Looking at the merit scholarships, they require about 3.7 according to the website so I don't know. I guess u just have to ask if they are done sending emails or probably wait and see. Also, they consider many other things too.

Thanks...yes, GPA isn't everything (although I had hopes that being a nerd in undergrad will pay-off right about now :p). Just going to keep fingers crossed and see what comes about. Best wishes to those who may still be awaiting decisions...

Not sure but keep your hopes high. Some accepted students will choose not to attent if they get into their first choice, and others for financial reasons. Goodluck to everyone waiting. I pray you get good news.
