So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?
I was recently admitted into the ABSN + MSN program! Don't submit your GRE scores immediately! They will review your transcripts first and you will need to fill out an application to get your GRE waived. If you see that the GRE is removed from your checklist that means your scores were waived! I got one waived and I had about a 3.6 GPA from my undergrad and then a 3.8 from a community college where I took prerequisites.
Does everyone have access to OPUS or just certain people?? I am still waiting on a decision, even though my app was submitted back in September but I have also gotten a financial aid package as well. Trying not to read into anything or get my hopes up
You've already received a financial aid package without having received a decision??
I have access to opus but no decision just yet, so I'm assuming everyone has opus access but I'm not sure.
Hi everyone!
I know a lot of you have had questions about the admission decision release! Admission decisions will begin being released at 5PM Eastern Time on November 15th. Decisions will continue being released as the admission committee reviews applicants for this fist round of submissions. You will receive decisions and updates in your admission status via your Application Portal Page. If you have questions concerning your application material, please do not hesitate to email [email protected]!
Hi everyone,
I applied to Emory back in September and still haven't received a decision letter. I applied to the FNP speciality.
Here are my stats:
Undergraduate GPA: 3.74
Prerequisite/science GPA: 3.81
GRE scores: average
Extracurricular/work/volunteer experience: Five years of health care experience working as a medical assistant and administrative assistant; TA'd for two courses; Resident Assistant for three years; involved in Greek Life for five years.
I'm so anxious to hear back from the admissions committee at Emory tomorrow! So far, I have applied to Columbia University, Simmons College, MGH Institute of Health Professions, and Northeastern University, but Emory is my first choice.
Good luck to everyone that has not received a decision yet.
