So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?
I also chose the FNM & CNM track :) Looking forward to May for sure!
A facebook page would be great! The acceptance letters will not show the track you are in. The track is whatever you selected on your application. You can email and ask nursingquestions if you forgot.
I was accepted to the dual specialty FNP & CNM track! Can't wait to start!
I still have not heard anything--GRE hasn't been waived, haven't gotten an email about an OPUS account, etc. I didn't submit my application until the 13th or so, though. I totally empathize with everyone who hasn't heard yet either! Crossing my fingers. I don't think I've ever wanted something this badly in my entire life!
I also applied to Columbia and UPenn so far. Planning on sending in my app to Vanderbilt on Nov. 1st.
Planning on also applying to OHSU, SeattleU, and University of Massachusetts Medical School GEP program as well this coming month (want to have some DNP options).
Haha a lot of programs just to keep my options open...
How about you?
I applied to Columbia and Rochester also. I got accepted to Rochester for Spring 2017 but Emory is a better choice for me. So, waiting on Columbia. I did not know seattle U has the DNP.

Yes and you can call also. I applied as soon as app was available early July and had red X's by mid September. I called and spoke to a lady who got intouch with admissions and before evening same day, everything turned green and gre was waived. I am not sure when you applied though.
Can we email the nursingquestions account to see if they can wave pre-reqs/GRE scores? Still have red X's and it is quite frustrating.
