EMORY ABSN+MSN 2017

Published

So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?

Thank you for making the facebook group, I joined!

Thanks! I just joined :)

Just a reminder...

I started a FACEBOOK group for accepted students. Please search "Emory ABSN/MSN STARTING SUMMER 2017 COHORT" to join and discuss! I would like to talk about housing, tours, and other related matters with you all. Looking forward to it!

Did any accepted students already receive a financial aid package? I haven't received a decision just yet, but the financial aid office is already processing my award I'm assuming because I've had to complete some tasks for them.

I'm not sure if all accepted students got the financial aid on their to do list, but so far everyone that has access to OPUS has Financial aid on their to do list from what I can tell.

I got accepted on the 25th and no financial aid package. The website says December 1 for merit and December 15 for Need-based so I'm assuming we won't get anything until then.

Good luck.

Hi everyone! I'm late to join the party. I applied for the FNP/ENP program back in July, didn't hear anything for months. Last week I got an email from the director about scheduling an interview. I live in Florida, so we agreed on a telephone interview for Nov 2. At the end of the interview she told me that she thought I would be a good fit and that I would be starting Fall 2017. I looked on OPUS and I don't see anything on there yet. I haven't heard anything about financial aid either. My hubby, son and I will be relocating at some point next year, probably summertime. We have to come and scope out the area. Hes a paramedic and will be looking for a county job.

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I hear that many of the programs take some of the core classes together because some are dual programs, so I am sure that we will be seeing each other!

Thanks!

I was hoping to get an idea of what a typical financial aid package looked like. I've been accepted to 4 other programs already and need to make a decision soon, but I haven't heard from Emory just yet. Ultimately, money will be the deciding factor though Emory is my first choice.
