Emory ABSN Fall 2020

Hey guys! I noticed there isn't a thread for Emory's ABSN for Fall 2020, so I figured I would start one. The priority decision releases are supposed to be sent out today. Has anyone heard anything?

Does anyone know what's going to happen during the Fall 2020 semester? Will classes be online and/or clinicals canceled?

Also, does anyone know where we actually find and download the health forms such as for TDAP, Varicella, MMR, etc.? I've been looking all over Emory's website for these forms?

We have a GroupMe for accepted students with a Google doc that has all the forms! If you message me your number I’ll add you ?

Hi everyone!

CONGRATS on all your acceptances from either Emory or other programs. I am going to be applying for nursing programs for Fall 2021 and Emory is one of my top choices! I wanted to ask some questions for the incoming ABSN students.

I spoke with an admissions coordinator and I was told that Emory is transitioning towards the MN program structure from the ABSN (which you all have mentioned in this thread). I wanted to ask- is there an update on the accreditation of the program? Do the accepted Fall 2020 students have the option to stick with the ABSN or do you have to do the MN option? Am I able to apply to the ABSN program, or should I be applying straight to the MN program? I ask because both programs are still being offered on their website and I'm not sure if the information has been updated.

Can someone post about their experience so far with Emory? What’s your schedule like? What are clinicals like? Where are clinicals? Etc....thank you
