Emory ABSN Fall 2018

Hi everyone! I noticed there has not been a thread started for Emory's ABSN Fall 2018 (just the ABSN-MSN). Have any of you applied?

Yesterday was the priority deadline and from looking at threads from past years, it looks like people have received decisions as early as 10/16. Has anyone heard back?

If anyone is interested in sharing stats, feel free :)

I submitted my application about a week ago. Just waiting to hear back on if I got an interview/if they are able to find a clinical placement in my state.

@ NICUNurse I know your comment wasn't directed at me, but just as an fyi for anyone considering the distance program, at the last virtual info session they said they wouldn't accept anyone in the Distance program who currently lives in the Atlanta area. They said that's what the on campus ABSN/ABSN+MSN is for. They would consider others who live in Georgia but are outside of the metro Atlanta area, but anyone in the Atlanta area has to apply for an on campus program.

I received my acceptance to the VANAP program a couple of days ago. However, I'm really hoping I get the HPSP scholarship, as my financial aid package wasn't enough to cover my tuition.

If not, I don't think I can even afford to attend Emory, sadly.

Is anyone taking online prerequisite classes through Emory this summer and understand how the payment works? They have differing numbers on the website and I haven't got an email back!

I received a call today saying I was accepted. Very exciting, but now just have to sort through the financial aspect. Anyone else get a call?

@anr2017 Do you know what counties in Georgia they define and consider as "Metro Atlanta" for the DABSN?
