Elmhurst Cohort MENP Fall 2021

Has anyone received admission’s for Elmhurst MENP Fall admission for 2021? Also, does anyone still have to interview?

Hey! 

The interview was really really chill for me. There was 2 faculty member that interviewed me and the most important thing they want to know is "why nursing." Other than that, they also want to know your strengths and weaknesses, and how you overcome some obstacle courses in life(how you deal with it), and what you learn from it. If I remember correctly, they also asked me what I like to do in my free time. If you are from out of state they want to know if you will have any support system in Chicago +elmhurst or Illinois in general. Again, it was really chill and you definitely got this!

@DeterminedNurse123 I submitted my application on 01/15 Night!! Yes! I was pretty shocked, I was sort of just waiting on a rejection letter being that others got interviewed earlier.

Hey! 

I just remember it was with 2 people, a long time professor with the program and the program director. They were awesome and super casual, the first question they asked was just to tell them about myself (hobbies, interests, etc) thats not already on my application. After that it was pretty standard questions, strengths, weaknesses, why nursing, will you be working at the same time etc. They did stress that they think a good support system in and out of school is important and asked about it. But it was really relaxed so I wouldn't be too nervous or anything ?

Oh LOL I will not be attending Azusa anymore since I got into the Uc Irvine MEPN program. But dang we're super close haha!

WOW ! Congratulations????! I am actually waiting to hear back from UC Irvine, hopefully if there is a second round of interviews... I am in the Los Angeles area.

Hello! Just a quick update. I just received an email from Elmhurst and I was waitlisted. I didn't get an interview but they said that if a spot opens up for me before school starts in August, they'll contact me and set an interview. ? Good luck to everyone who's still waiting ?

I got waitlisted as well like 2 weeks ago.
