I know its super duper early.. I'm still in the process of taking my pre reqs.. I still need biol 1406 & bio 2401 I made a B in engl 1301 & A in psyc 2301.. I plan on taking bio 1406 in fall & bio 2401 in winter semester. Im taking as many supporting classes as I can to rack up on the extra points. I currently attend collin but they have so many more requirements than el centro so in the event i do not get accepted into elcentro the following semester I will apply at collin.. I still need Hesi & all my shots along with cpr.. anyone in the same situation? Or just getting the process started?? I figured I'd start a thread to help us all get over this together.. feel free to comment advice, concerns or questions :)
Hey! I wanted to share my experience im currently 1st semester spring student! And the program can get hard if you let it get hard! It takes a lot of dedication! Make sure you Read every chapter you can! It will help you understand the material! It can be a little unorganized but I use all of my resources given calendars, syllabus, etc. if I'm confused about something email your professor or ask during class! It's all about being organized and you will do fine :) get a planner and a big calendar to put on your wall! And always ask your professors if you aren't sure about due dates or anything! But from my own experience I have been doing good bc of the reading I do! If your professor tells you to read a certain book or chapter listen to them! It can get really easy to avoid reading bc it is time consuming but if you are really determined you will find a good study schedule for yourself and do great! Good luck!!!
I am so excited! we're around 20 days out from finding out! I follow this board all the time and cannot wait to meet you all! I was going to join in with my stats too PreReq - 4, HPRS - 6, Support - 4, BSN - 13, HESI 17 (A&P - 92, Math - 96, English - 91). I ended up with 44 points. I was reading about some of you having to commute and I will be joining you guys, i'll be coming from Haslet in Sept, but I feel nursing school is worth the drive.

Thank you girls, I will start in May 15, and my program is an accelerated- 15 months nonstop. I did not plan Collin, it just happened.
