Elcentro fall 2017

Published

I know its super duper early.. I'm still in the process of taking my pre reqs.. I still need biol 1406 & bio 2401 I made a B in engl 1301 & A in psyc 2301.. I plan on taking bio 1406 in fall & bio 2401 in winter semester. Im taking as many supporting classes as I can to rack up on the extra points. I currently attend collin but they have so many more requirements than el centro so in the event i do not get accepted into elcentro the following semester I will apply at collin.. I still need Hesi & all my shots along with cpr.. anyone in the same situation? Or just getting the process started?? I figured I'd start a thread to help us all get over this together.. feel free to comment advice, concerns or questions :)

I believe it has to be Chem 1411 general chemistry. At the bottom it says the course numbers must match exactly for the bsn

No problem. I practically have that packet memorized lol. I plan on taking chem and the rest of my remaining bsn courses throughout the program. Mostly during the summers.

Did you take HPRS 1204? The one that gives you 4 points :) I'm taking it now in case I fail this time, also I believe I can get 3 points from Hesi English if I study more.

Yup I have taken both of the hprs classes

I just got my compliance from sentry! Yay! Lol

I told you they are fast :) So we are waiting for March-April? Do you know the date?

April 30. But that's a Sunday so probably won't go out until May 1

Today is the 31st! Now we can all freak out.

Yup lol. I'm going in a couple hours to drop off my packet. Now the longest 88 days to find out our fate! Lol

I'm so nervous all we can do is wait. I hope there are not a lot of applicants. I've been trying to get into nursing school since forever. I finally feel that this is my time.

You sound like me. I've been trying for so long but have always had something bad happen along my way. I've been through hell just to accomplish being able to apply. And all that just makes its such a big deal and accomplishment to even make it this far.
