Elcentro fall 2017

I know its super duper early.. I'm still in the process of taking my pre reqs.. I still need biol 1406 & bio 2401 I made a B in engl 1301 & A in psyc 2301.. I plan on taking bio 1406 in fall & bio 2401 in winter semester. Im taking as many supporting classes as I can to rack up on the extra points. I currently attend collin but they have so many more requirements than el centro so in the event i do not get accepted into elcentro the following semester I will apply at collin.. I still need Hesi & all my shots along with cpr.. anyone in the same situation? Or just getting the process started?? I figured I'd start a thread to help us all get over this together.. feel free to comment advice, concerns or questions :)

Really you should review the packet and try not to wait too long because the guy that works there told me that they are going by the post mark date. I sent mine off Fedex and my stuff got there in one day without paying express. Also he did tell me that if you do not have your stuff turned in on January 31st that you will not be considered.

Hello guys. I dropped my application yesterday. My HESI points are- Math 100, A&P-92, English-80 (I know, but it's not my first language). My total points are 32-33.

Hey everyone! I will be applying for the fall as well (finally!). I'm going to turn in my application on Tuesday in person. I have 33 points. I really hope that will be enough to get in!

You should be fine. 33 points is a lot. Which campus are you trying to attend?

I am trying to get in at El centro as well. When I counted my points I came up with 33 points. But looking back at past forums from this site El centro has been known to short people some points so I'm kind of nervous. I'm literally sitting around waiting for April to come I hope they don't take long.

I've seen that too but have noticed if it's a genuine mix up and you confront them on it they usually fix it. I'm worried about getting in but trying not to be. I've gone through soo much just trying to apply for this program lol. I'm glad I'm finally able to apply this time. I know last period was all messed up with the shooting and new points. I'm hoping and almost sure we have a competitive amount of points. The only thing I'm worried about is getting sentry compliance before Tuesday. I sent my stuff in yesterday although I'm sure they won't be back till Monday. But last filing period they always responded to my emails within hours not the 7-10 days like it says. Plus when I spoke with them last period I didn't have my hep a and she said if you get first dose now you will be able to get your second dose before January 31. So I have the email saying it would be enough time before deadline with them knowing I wouldn't have it until the 28th. So I will hold that to them if for some reason there is an issue. Just trying to stay positive tho lol.

My plan is if I don't hear from them by noon tomorrow I will send my PDF to the direct email of the person who told me that. I know it says not to send twice but I can't not have compliance and sending it directly to the person I spoke to last time might make sure it gets done.

I recieved my answer from centery md in 24 hours. I did mistake by sending unsigned CPR card and recieved email from them that I can do it seperatly. You should recieve an answer tomorrow, they are pretty fast.

Do you know about Chemistry? For extra point you need to have general chem or intro works too?
