El centro nursing fall 2016

Hello, I know this is going up kind of early but i was wondering if anyone else was applying to the nursing program at el centro for fall 2016, if i am not mistaken , the deadline is some where in november to January. How many points will you guys have by the time you apply?

Hello everyone! After reading through some comments I decided to join in as well. With all my classes I have 23 points so far and I just took the HESI A2 Test right now and I think I scored 6 point so I will be applying with 29 points! :) Good luck to everyone!

Hey guys!

Okay so I took the HESI on Jan 9th: 96 on math (4pnts), 90 eng (3pnts) and .... wait for it 64 on A&P (0 pnts)! Even with the failing A&P I earned 7 points giving me a total of 28 points. Unfortunately I cannot submit those scores since you have to have 70% or above on all sections to apply. I tested again today after studying like a mad man for the past 2 weeks. I got an 80 (YAAY) on A&P (1 pnt) but sadly my math & English dropped: math 92 (down 1 point), English 89.4 HALF A POINT DIFFERENCE UHG (down 1 point). A total of 6 points.

The good news is I can apply now that I have a passing grade on A&P. The sad news is the passing HESI has one less point than the original HESI with the failing A&P.

I turned in my application with 27 points. I haven't seen anyone post with less than a 28! I'm so concerned. Pray people please!

Hoping we get more nursing applicants on here! What is everyone applying with? What is lowest you guys have heard? Encourage others to get on here so we can all communicate and help each other!!! We got this! Although May is forever and a day!!!!!!!!!

I've been lurking around for the longest and finally decided to join in . I'll be applying this fall with 29 points . There is something I am worried about .... I couldn't receive my TB test until Friday causing me to not be able to receive my results until Monday .... Is it too late to submit my documentation to sentry ? I didn't understand if I had to be cleared by sentry on the 31st or if I could submit it up until the 31st .

No, it is not too late. Go ahead and submit before the 31st and you will be okay!

I'm taking Microbiology so I will definitely encourage those in my class who will be applying to post here. I met a few nursing hopefuls in class Thursday, one needed to take the Hesi, another hadn't taken any BSN classes, another is still trying to decide if he is going to apply to El Centro or go to the navy, and the last one is a spring 2017 hopeful. I will definitely network more and encourage those who will be applying for fall to join.

No, it is not too late! As long as you submit your results to them by the 31st!!!! SO send it in Monday and you are good :)

I emailed someone about the application. In regards to the DCCCD attended schools. I only put down "Dallas county community college. I might just be over worrying but just to make sure! Lol I hope she emails me back
