How was the cardiac test, Spill?
Our cardiac/resp test is on Tuesday. Bleh.
(Did I mention I don't care much for EKGs?)
it went well, it brought my grade up, so I'm happy for that.
I'm going to start on Psych after I work these next two days.
I hate EKG stuff too, I work on a telementery floor, so I had to take an EKG class- that was helpful, but it still all looks the same to me now.
I know you will do awesome, just keep your eyes on the prize!!!

Hey guys. I've been reading your message board...getting lots of insight and helpful info. I'm starting at Northlake in January and I read on your board to pick clinicals by instructor not location. Have any of you heard of Brenda Arnold-Darensbourg and have any helpful info? So far my first choice I think is McCarty. Thanks for your help!
McCarty is supposed to be good, at least I've heard good things about him. Ms. Darensbourg is super sweet, but slow as molasses on a cold winter morning. For skills though, she does expect you to do it right. Good luck and let us know if we can help with anything!

Any suggestions on how to prepare for Psych? Read text...do the slides help any? I'm going to go to lecture...anything that you can add, will be most helpful, Ms. Gray is teaching it.
Don't believe her when she says, "Is it on the syllabus? No? Then you don't need to know it."
She told us that every class session, several times a session leading up to our test. There were indeed drugs on the test that were not in our syllabus. After the test, she said she wasn't taking them off because we "should know them."
I don't remember much about the test, but it was one of my better grades. Mostly, I use the slides to figure out the main topics, then use other books to find the information I needed to study.
