Hey Jaxia-
I went to the conference with the lady who wrote the Saunders book- I would highly suggest using it for Nclex. it has the highest rating on Amazon- lots of good reviews.
I bought it this semster and I love it- the CD that comes worth it is awesome. I even use her book to use to study for exams. I don't even bother printing out slides anymore.
congrats on the new job! I'm really excited for you and Yang. I can't wait until I'm going on interviews- It is really keeping me motivated this semester.
ps. Did you go to the fair on Friday. I think I might have seen your twin or something.

Thanks for the info, Spill. I do have the Saunder's book. I'm just stressing out about the NCLEX since lecture hasn't exactly been a piece of cake for me
I'm really excited about the new job! I cannot wait to get started in the OR.
Haha! Nope, I didn't go to the fair. I wonder if we were separated at birth? On the next episode of Oprah ... LOL

:yeah:congratulations jaxia!!
i'll be waiting to hear how your interview goes, yang. i'm sure you'll go where you need to be
it's so exciting hearing about everyone's success!
i like to get that excitement for nursing going again after the day-in-and-day-out feeling comes over me every once in a while and i can usually get my fix in here!
fun- are you starting to enjoy any particular type of surgery?

Jaxia - you will do so well on NCLEX! Lecture in 4th semester is nothing like the NCLEX...lecture in none of the semesters is nothing like the NCLEX...don't worry about it. I've been there and it really was not worth my worry

So far, I've mainly been in Urology, and Plastics, with a little bit of General, and even less of ENT, and Neuro.
I like everything the same, so far.
What is everyone up to? I should be studying for cardiac. Anyone doing anything for halloween? I'm planning on eating some chocolate LOL

I will be celebrating my oldness on Halloween (after taking my daughter to a halloween thingy). I will be imbibing alcohol hehe....but not too much because I have to work at the hospital at 7 am on Saturday. I too should be studying cardiac/resp, but instead I'm trying to avoid it because I'm just not in the mood....LOL...

Well, it's official - I got offered an internship in the ED at Medical Center of McKinney! I am super excited!! On my Master's program, I won't be starting that until August it looks like. Their schedule for Spring is starting on Jan. 5, and I have to have taken, passed, and be showing up on the BON as licensed by the first day of class. Not likely given ECC's history with processing for ATTs. So, they asked if they could move me to the August start...So, that's what I'm doing there! What's up with everyone else???
Congrats Yang!! :)
It's about time!
Congrats!!
It's not a competition Jaxia!
Uh huh. Tell that to your daughter!
I should be studying EKGs right now, but I'm watching the election results. Anyone else?
