Good Luck Jaxia-
Any word yet Yang?
3rd sem is going well. I'm hanging on to my 79 avg Clinicals are going really well. I really like Parkland a lot. I love the floor I'm on. I am learning a lot with Mrs. Beecham-she knows her stuff
I haven't heard much from my 4th semester buddies- how is fourth going? Is clinical a breeze? What about lecture?
I hope to hear from ya'll soon!
Good thing you are dealing with her....some people quit because of her! grrrrrr
I hear NLC/ECC is going DOWWWWWWWWWWN HILL fast!
On another thread, they were saying the lowest was a 2.6 GPA!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG.....from our 3.77's and 4.0 battles!?!?!??!?!!
Oh well....y'all just get yourselves out of there! :)
El Centro is putting themselves in a position to graduate so few nurses, that it won't matter what their NCLEX pass rate is. They need a total makeover - new administration, new teachers, updated curriculum. They are going to Hades in a Handbasket!
I have my second interview with Medical City ER on Friday - keep your fingers crossed for me!! I haven't heard anything yet on the RN to MSN program. I did call them this morning though to find out about the timeline because I'm way anxious! Clinicals this year are a breeze and feel like real nursing to me. I'm loving it and my preceptor! We have the endocrine test on Tuesday though - per Dr. Ann, it is the "nut cruncher" of the semester....GREAT! I don't even have any to crunch lol. I loved Ms. Beecham too....she is sharp! I'm glad you're doing well. Things have just been sooooo busy!
lol Yang....neither did I....and I did TERRIBLE on that test!
Just make sure you study ALL the topics, not just focusing on endocrine. You want to be a well-rounded test taker, correct?
I'm glad to hear that, Spill! I'm having a great semester so far! Some of my best test grades of nursing school, clinicals are awesome and
I JUST ACCEPTED A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooooo!!!! Thanks for the 'Good Luck' -- it must have worked!
I got the OR!
/happy dance
Congratulations!!! :yelclap::balloons:
Now all you have to do is focus on getting through the semester!! It definitely takes a load off your shoulders to have a position waiting for you!!!
Just think...in only 3 little months, you will be working in the OR! It will be here faster than you think!!
Jaxia got a job, Jaxia got a job!!! I remember when we met the first time to get shoes for clinicals.... and now! You are almost all growed up and a real nurse! Seems like yesterday....LOL
