Funny thing happened in orientation, after we ordered the uniforms. We went through the information, then we picked hospitals.

How come I pick the one that requires white scrubs! AAACK, now I have to go buy another pair, since I won't be using the ones we ordered before orientation! I just had to laugh though, no sense in getting upset so early in the game.

Can't wait to get started now!

Just think about the 1 sem that got told that they needed white scrubs on the 1st day of class!!!!!!!! :eek:

At least you can pick any white scrubs, right? So you can be really cute? :)

Ok....in order to finish strong, I have to go study Fluid and Electrolytes. LOL!

I don't know what hospitals to pick. I don't know anything about any of them hardly. Anybody know anything about the hospitals for El Centro??

Get info on clinical instructors first. They are more important than hospitals. ;)

Soooo, was anyone at the ECC orientation today? I tried to meet several people, but of those I asked about allnurses, none had heard about it. If anyone on here went today, what clinical did you get? I got Marshall at Mesquite Community. It's not what I wanted, but I got the 46th choice :(. Oh well, maybe next time I can get a preferred choice. I'm finally getting excited (I've had a busy few weeks, and it just hadn't sunk in really). I can't wait to hear from everybody!

Hi Kathy,

first semester student here,El Centro

from what I read on this thread, looks like you the only " new one" on all nurses :roll from El Centro on here. Don't feel alone, the NOrth Lake bunch is just more active on all nurses , but we all help each other out. If you have question, just ask , or Pm, someone will answer, (there are 3 threads now, just jump around on them,lol , it's what i do)
