El Centro or Northlake Jaxia? I'll be at El Centro, and you'll probably be in my clinical if you are (Mesquite Community) as I was one of the last to sign up and there were still a couple spots left (it was the only one with spaces open). Congratulations & I can't wait to meet you!

Kathy -- NL was my first choice, but the open spot is at ECC -- so I took it! I will know more after my orientation, which should be some time next week.

I cannot wait to meet you :)

If they are offering the pilot group, I will try to get in it, for sure :)

I'm so excited for you. The pilot program was for those who took their skill labs beginning in October. So you should be with us regular folk. When is your orientation?

October? How did people take the skills lab that early if they didn't even know if they got into the program?

Oh wait, I forgot that MOST people found out in the middle of Oct. Heh.

She said it would be one day next week. She wasn't sure yet.

They started skills lab early so they could start clinicals like the 3rd week I think instead of the 7th. It was the first round of acceptances that got offered the pilot spots. I think there were 20 spots, but I'm not sure all were filled because it was optional, and not everyone can rearrange their semester on a dime. Let us know how your orientation goes!

Weird thing is, we had close to 50 if not 50 at our orientation - but, they are only showing 26 of 50 registered in the lecture class. I wonder what happened to them all, and I'm curios as to how many will be at your orientation. Very interesting!

Yeah, that makes sense. I just forgot that some people found out their status in Oct. I had an ordeal ;)

She said there were 3 others that would be in there next week.

You bet....Skills lab is Mondays, time to be determined, which pairs with the clinical at Mesquite Community, Tues/Wed 6:34 am (what an odd time, but that's what it says!) - 3:15 pm, and Lecture Friday 8a - 1:30p. I can't wait to find out if yours will match! Talk to you soon!
