Hi guys,

I'm just wondering, is there any of you who will apply to the Nursing Program for the upcoming Fall 2013 Nursing Program?

Which campus will you choose?

I will be applying with 25 points. I hope that's enough to obtain a spot.

The cut off was 20 points for the Spring 2013 application.

Hello everyone, Currently I am in 1st semester at NLC and I enjoy it very much. Last time I applied wt 25pts and I got in. Goood luck everyone.

Worst part of nursing school: Not sleeping the night before clinical; worrying over exams; doing check off in front of the instructors

Best part of nursing school:FInding out I enjoyed clinicals; figuring out the exams weren't so hard once i studied .and passing out the check-offs

hello I am applying to el centro. for the may an aug dead line to start in the spring of 2014. does anyone have any advise for the hesi. I also got word that they are no longer accepting collage algebra as a pre rec. an making the hesi 5 sections. I currently have 18 points without the hesi. if anyone can give me some advise that would be great. thanks

How does Northlake work? Did you request Northlake? Are your clinicals in Las Colina's? That would be my preferred location as I am in n Ft Worth. Any info is appreciated! Especially when it comes to the health profession course and immunization a.

Yes. NL campus was my 1st choice since I took all th prerequisites there and I am more familiar wt it more than EC. There are 6 choices for you to choose and yes, one of them is in Irving. However, once you get in, you will be attend in the orientation and on that day you will play bingo to choose clinicals locations as well as instructors. So it is all about luck :-) feel free to ask me any questions at [email protected]. I still have the photo of clinicals locations list that I took on that day, if you want , I can send it to you. I really want to know how many applicants they had. I wonder if anyone will tell us that... 2 1/2 weeks until letters are mailed. It seems so close yet.... so far. lol. I did my first choice as NL as I a much closer to that campus. I'm curious what the locations are for clinicals.

It needs to be the day they send the letters out already. This waiting stuff is for the BIRDS, Assumming someone had all of their support courses finished when they enter....how do you think keeping a job would be during nursing school? There is a real good chance I could get in, but also a real good chance I need to keep paying bills....lol!
