El Centro/Northlake Fall 2013 Nursing Program

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering, is there any of you who will apply to the Nursing Program for the upcoming Fall 2013 Nursing Program?

Which campus will you choose?

I will be applying with 25 points. I hope that's enough to obtain a spot.

The cut off was 20 points for the Spring 2013 application.

This hrps class.... Online? In person? El Centro? North lake? Any info appreciated.

I responded earlier, but I don't see that it posted. I did it at El Centro. There are check offs you have to do in person like BP and physical assessments. A lot of med term quizzes.

Wow! I am beginning to thing that' a BSN is the way to go for me. I have 22 points. I graduated this week with an AS and. 4.0. I am getting rather discouraged!

I vitals at work all the time. 3 times a day in fact. It seems like the checklist is easy except for the head to toe physical assessment. Did u do it at north lake or Dallas?

I went to Dallas, only bc that was the only one offering the course on such a late notice. The Physical assessment is really easy too. Just have to memorize everything you have to do, but very easy and the teachers are very helpful. If you forgot something they'll say "Did you forget anything" to give you a chance to get it. I made an A and it was a 5 week class while taking micro and chem. You shouldn't have a problem with it. :)

9 days until mailed! I keep checking my mail hoping they mailed them early, and then getting disappointed. I dont know why I keep doing it, but I'll prob do it every day for the next week and a half.

So excited for you. I am reading everywhere that people in ap2 last fall are getting into programs! I can't wait.....
