Hello everyone, I graduated in December and been studying for the most important test of my life, NCLEX. Im taking it in about 2 weeks and I dont feel ready at all. My score are as following: ATI predictor 91% Hurst review Qbank average 70% (88/125) Lacharity book average 70-90 NCSBN 50%-80% ( sometimes up to 90%---must be sth wrong w me on that day lol, I feel like they have the most difficult and confusing questions) I cant afford Kaplan right now but I've tried my best to study for the content as well as read the rationales for the questions that I missed. If you have any advice or comments then I would love to hear it! Am I ready for Nclex? Thank you so much!!!

Hello usrn1, thanks so much for your reply. You make it so clear now bc eventhough I'v e been "stalking" the UTA website for awhile but Im stillconfused. Also, I just found out the minimum score is 79(s:21,L:16,R:20, W:22) .You are right, I believe its not hard at least like Nclex :-) Im planning to take toefl in july and I hope you can pass too:-)

So how was it? Did you get exempt from the toefl? If not, what is the minimum point? Thank you

my acceptance letter was thick since it included grades sheet, congrats letter, instruction to next steps, etc so I assume the denial one should be thin

Yes. NL campus was my 1st choice since I took all th prerequisites there and I am more familiar wt it more than EC. There are 6 choices for you to choose and yes, one of them is in Irving. However, once you get in, you will be attend in the orientation and on that day you will play bingo to choose clinicals locations as well as instructors. So it is all about luck :-) feel free to ask me any questions at [email protected]. I still have the photo of clinicals locations list that I took on that day, if you want , I can send it to you. Worst part of nursing school: Not sleeping the night before clinical; worrying over exams; doing check off in front of the instructors Best part of nursing school:FInding out I enjoyed clinicals; figuring out the exams weren't so hard once i studied .and passing out the check-offs

I read my textbook and it says to give medication from simple to complex. So in what order do you give medications such as oral first then buccal sublingual patch paste rectal lady partsl eye ear IM ID Subq IV etc.?

No, this is not my homework. I read the book davis fundamental success and one of the questions on the book I want to understand more in depth instead of just memorizing the right answer. Is there anything wrong with studying? I did try to google surrogate role for nursing but it does not explain well. Or i did read my text book, potter and perry (pg44) but i do not get it either.
