Is there anyone out there that is applying to El Centro/North Lake for Fall 2010? I am getting ready to turn in my packet tomorrow and I am sooooo nervous about this new points system! Has anyone heard what is the average number of points that most applicants have for this application period? I have heard that this is now very similar to how Brookhaven and other Texas colleges have been for awhile but it is new for El Centro and North Lake. Fingers crossed that I will get accepted....I'm so nervous!
Oh! I just got married about a year ago and I miss the whole wedding planning/ honeymoon planning/attention! LOL! It was a blast! Where are you going for your honeymoon?
I am really enjoying the planning too. I took my bridal pictures this past weekend and felt awesome in my dress! I cant wait to wear it again. We are going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon and I cant wait for that! My Fiancee and I have been dating for 7 years so I guess I can wait a couple more days for my nursing letter LOL!
LOL! 7 years! You must be well prepared! We went to St. Lucia, which I'm sure is similar to the Bahamas! It was amazing! I've heard that swimming with the dolphins is amazing if you have that option! What colors are you using for your wedding? I did black and pink. My husband loved the colors surprisingly!
Yeah 7 years.. Long time :) we've been engaged for about a year and a half. I actually do plan to swim with the dolphins I am so excited for that. My colors are chocolate brown and tiffany blue. My fiancee is kind of in the "whatever makes HER happy" mode.
Ok so they are officially trying to tortue me! Still no letter. When I sent my application I had delivery confirmation so I know they got it but still havent gotten anything back. UGHHH!!
Ok so my package finally came and I saw a big envelope so I got so excited! However when I opened it I see that I was not accpeted because I didnt take college algebra... BUT I took it last summer and got a A! They totally overlooked it an denied me because of it. So of course when I call I get no answer. AWESOME!! If I could express how mad I am right now I probably would be booted from the site LOL. I waited all this time to find out that they screwed up on my application.
I was about to jump in the car and go but I called first and of course the "admissions specialist" left at noon today. I will be up there first thing monday morning for sure!
