I've created this new thread for those applying to the Methodist Nursing Program linked with El Centro. This program is for those that are employed, have immediate family members employed, and volunteers that have reached a certain amount of hours at a Methodist hospital. They currently are only accepting 10 people per semester.
I know! I was a little upset after I found out my results. I made a 92 in anp, 90 in math and a 76 on the English section. That's broke my heart. I was mad at myself because I couldn't believe how poorly I did in the English section... That was supposed to have been the easiest part of the test. I only got 7 points from it, leaving me at 27 points and I know that won't be enough. I'm scheduled to retest next month so hopefully I can bring up all points. Although, the more I think about it, the more I want to apply for Spring instead :/
34 points total is still pretty competitive. Congrats!!!
27 points is still good! If I remember correctly, that is around the average of the people who are in the program now! But yes I'd retake it and see if you can bump up your score so that will give you a little bit of comfort! I made a 96 on math, 90 on english, and a dang 72 on A & P. I knew that would be my weakest subject but I was very shocked when I saw my score. But considering it's only 25 questions, you can't miss very many or your score goes down significantly! I only missed 6 questions! Anyways.. I'm rescheduled to take the Hesi on Feb 8th, so good luck to you! Let me know what you make!
Orientation next week? What time and where? I was wondering when orientation would be, but I haven't seen any updated dates in the website. Yay! We will get to meet each other soon. Regarding the program, i'm not really sure when I want to apply. I guess it all depends on how well I re test next month. If not, I will for sure apply for Spring semester.
