El Centro College Spring 2019

Hi guys,

i wanted to make a forum for all of the 2019 applicants. I wanted to know what everybody was going to apply with and if they knew anything about the school still being in academic probation? Also does anybody know if the school accepts the Hep A and Hep B shows that are 1 month apart?

Hey guys, what happened to the clinical sites? We are only officially approved for one for now?

Yes the others are TBA because Dean Becker said they are finalizing the contract terms. She said the 2 possibilities for the other 2 clinical sites are Brentwood in Dallas and The Legacy in Plano - this could change. Dean Becker said to check the Community Tab in Ecampus, once we are added to the Nursing Community, we will be able to access the syllabi and other information, including the clinical sites.

I have access to the Nursing Community through ecampus. Not sure if everyone has been added. Just wanted to let everyone know!

Does anyone know what time first year first semester has exams on Monday? I'm thinking about taking a BSN class.

Does anyone know what time first year first semester has exams on Monday? I'm thinking about taking a BSN class.

Not sure about what times exams will be scheduled on Mondays. I checked my econnect and saw my 1161 (Clinical) and 1216 (PNC) was moved from Friday to Tuesday. My schedule shows all 5 of my first semester classes being on Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyone else have the same thing?

I had my fingerprints done last week. When will we know to get our drug test done? Is that done before clinicals?

I haven't even received any emails for fingerprinting or drug testing. :( Yes drug testing has to be completed before clinicals begin.

It will be from: [email protected]go. I thought it was spam at first. I remember Kanora mentioning drug test and background at the orientation, but I can't remember if we had to wait on an email from her.

I checked my student email and 2 personal emails for the [email protected]go sender address and nothing came up in any of the inboxes :( Another girl on the ADN 2019 FB page said she hasn't received anything about fingerprinting either. She just updated and said she called Kanora and they had her email address incorrect... I just emailed Kanora. I remember her saying she didn't everyone calling and emailing her saying they haven't received anything lol :p She did also say the drug testing email will come from her with instructions.
